25 June 2023 - (approximately 24 days old) - As I got close to the nest I noticed it was quiet, I didn’t hear calls. Entering the blind I saw the remaining chick on the nest. It was very warm 77F, the chick was panting. Within a few minutes the female arrived with a large fish. She fed him and also provided some shade.
