Great Horned Owl Nests on Kent Island, MD - 2024

A Great Horned Owl nest was reported on Kent Island in March with the female incubating. I checked on it on 05 April and saw one owlet.

Another nest was located by a birding friend. We checked on the nest 07 April and saw two owlets.
