This platform has been on Lake Knapp for a number of years. Over time it has begun to lean to one side. Over the last couple of years the osprey pair have not been successful building the nest - as you can see the sticks they place on the platform get blown off the edge.

This year they tried again and even though the same thing happened she laid two eggs which hatched. It is uncertain whether the nest will hold up as the chicks grow.

This nest is next to a blind, a good vantage point for observation and photography.
