Day Eight
Today’s birding excursion is back into the town of Atenas, this time in the morning rather than the afternoon. Before leaving the house I wanted to check the backyard and front. There in a tree across the street is a single keel-billed toucan. This is right in the neighborhood! Excellent start to a birding day.
We went to a park in town center. I couldn’t believe the variety of birds landing in the park trees.
Later that evening on the way to dinner I saw a red-billed pigeon.
