Did you know?

  • At appropriately 19-21 days the beak and talons are fully grown.

  • 1/3 of their growth happens in about the first 9 days.

  • The ear tufts show at approximately 20 days old.

  • They make pellets at approximately 19 days old. - A pellet is the mass of undigested parts of food such as bones and fur that they occasionally regurgitate.
