Day Five
I thought I’d get in a little more birding before heading for the airport. I’m glad I did - I got a lifer - a Golden Winged Warbler. He was in a distant tree but none the less I got a good look and was able to get a couple of pictures. I also added a Canada Warbler and a Wilson’s for the trip. Of course I stopped by to check on the nesting Prothonotary Warbler. I did see her go into the cavity and onto the railing (pictures in summary). I also saw the Screech Owl perched in a tree next to the one it was in the day before.
