Red on the Head?

I went back today to see if I could find him. I went to the same pine area he was in the other day. I did finally see him on his nest tree. As soon as I tried to get a picture he was gone. I decided to leave the area and continue birding. I went a short distance away, over to Lake Knapp. I spent a little time there checking the lake. I saw a mallard, 3 snowy egrets, and 62 Canada geese. Flying overhead I saw 2 forster’s tern, an osprey, a green heron and 16 double-crested cormorants. Turning back to the woods I heard some cedar waxwings. I continued my walk when I suddenly heard the fledgling. I did not expect to see him this far away yet. I looked up, saw movement and there he was. He actually came to me (I liked to think so at least). Still very poor lighting for pictures, but you can see a little of the red starting to appear on his head (I was a little surprised to see this so early).
