Day Four
Today starts with a beautiful sunrise. A couple of us went to the beach across from the hotel to watch the Black Skimmers.

We then went to South Cape May Meadows (The Nature Conservancy) for morning birding. It was clear, 57F N winds 7mph.

The list of species for our walk at The Meadows.
After about 3 hours we then headed over to the hawk watch one more time before having to catch the ferry for our return trip home.
We saw a Baltimore Oriole at the Hawk Watch, an additional species for our list.

After a wonderful birding trip to witness the fall migration at Cape May it was time to head home, but the birding did not stop - I spent most of the ferry ride watching the gulls feeding. There is so much going on in some of these pictures - gull drama I suppose.
