Day One
Each day of this trip was gorgeous. Cool mornings & evenings, then warming throughout the day. There were 12 folks from the Anne Arundel Bird Club attending this trip. I stayed an extra couple of days. Some of us took the 8:45am ferry out of Lewes, Delaware to arrive at the Hawkwatch Platform about 10:00am.

After visiting the Hawkwatch we headed over to the Cape May Bird Observatory Northwood Center and walked around Lily Lake. We were fortunate to see this Cooper’s Hawk sitting on a fence. He was hunting.
