Northern Harrier

I have included additional pictures here that represent the hunting behavior. This sequence of pictures took place over a period of 35 minutes. Initially the harrier caught a meadow vole. After eating the vole it spent the rest of the time going after clumps of dirt. It would do this for a bit, then fly off (sometimes with the dirt), circle above for a moment and return to a different spot to grab another clump of dirt. - You will see this in the pictures. There are additional Harrier pictures at the end of this sequence.
