Description:
Small falcon (smallest in North America).
Slim body.
Slim pointed wings.
Narrow tail, does not taper at the tip like the Merlin.
Flight is fluttery and sometimes turbulent. They frequently flap and glide (more so then other falcons).
They sometimes hover when hunting.
Often seen on roadside wires and poles. Pumping tail.
